Traditional accompiament with lamb.
Ingredients
  • ¼ pint vinegar
  • ½ pint water
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons warm water

Instructions
  1. Simmer vinegar and water with 2 heaped tablespoons chopped mint until reduced to half the original quantity. Remove from heat and strain. Add 4 tablespoons warm water, lemon juice, sugar and salt. When cold add another 2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves.
